distractions

Typically, when I become distracted, it is because I allow it.  I suppose I should know better, but my view is that if I’m easily distracted, it is because I am not fully invested, and any words generated will likely be less than stellar.

Or is that an excuse?

Business card creation (to print and stick on my promotional covers for setting up book signings, and to hand out at said book signings) dominated my Saturday, followed by a Christmas party with good friends last night.  Today was all about football, hot chocolate, and keeping warm.  Because it is really, really cold here.  I say that with full knowledge that my friends to the north and west are suffering much colder temperatures and more severe weather … but I’m a southern girl, and I’ve never gotten used to sustained cold temperatures.

It’s 4pm on Sunday.  Charity deserves a bit of my attention, yes?  And let’s not forget about Faith … release scheduled for December 29th, first book signing January 2nd.  Be beautiful, my friends.
