One of the beautiful things about blogging these days is the ease with which you can entirely revamp your blog.  Nearly everything is drag and drop or a simple click, and voila!  Entirely new look.  I remember when it was important to have at least a rudimentary working knowledge of HTML and/or CSS to even create a web page or online journal.

So look around.  Everything is pretty much the same … just in different places.  It’s a little more interactive and friendly with the linkage to my social networking platforms, and my last five posts are on the front page instead of just the last three.  It’s also a lot easier to add images to the sidebar, so the covers of Grace and Faith are there … soon to be joined by the cover of Charity.

Those of you who visit me regularly here, on Facebook, or on Twitter know I’ve been fighting a cold for over a week.  It’s one of those lingering things that makes you just sick enough to be miserable, but not sick enough to seek medical attention.  It has affected my writing by limiting the number of hours I am lucid.  Cold drugs just really kick my ass.  I’m hoping it will finally peter out today or tonight and allow me to get some serious work done on Charity and the synopsis for Mercy.

I hope this finds all of you well.  I’m off to make another hot toddy, annihilate another box of tissues, and pound some more keys on the novels.

  1. Okay, I just read “Faith”! I don’t often feel the urge to contact the author, but in this case, MARVELOUS! It was so wonderful a read I just couldn’t put it down, then I went to my local Chapters and ordered “Grace”. That has just arrived and I’ve just opened the package and hope to have it finished by the end of the day. Thank goodness you are writing more! That’s all I can say, I’m hooked. I love books written in series. It’s wonderful to follow.
Do you have any brothers for these lively sisters? If not that’s okay…..I love the idea of the “Vanities”.
Thank you for making my reading so enjoyable.

    • Verona,

Thank you SO much! I am always grateful when someone takes the time to let me know they enjoyed my work, and even more touched when they go out of their way to obtain another book. I very much hope you enjoy Grace, and that you will enjoy Charity, as well, when it comes out at the end of September.

The girls have no brothers, but their husbands have ancestors … my next series is planned for the middle ages, set in the world of Tournaments, and will be about an ancestor of the men in the Virtue series. I’ll be getting started on that just as soon as we see if Mercy manages to snare her duke.

Thank you again. I hope this finds you well.

  2. I can’t wait to check out your books at our local library today! As a mother of three daughters and one son, I love a well-written book about sisters and the bond they share. Best of luck with Mercy, Tory Minus
